론 아라드(1951년 4월 24일~)는 이스라엘 텔아비브(Tel-Aviv)에서 출생,
예술학교를 졸업한 뒤에 영국으로 이주해 런던의 Architectural Association in London 학교 건축과에 들어갔습니다.
Archizoom의 창립자 피터 쿡과 버나드 추미 밑에서 공부, 후에 건축 설계 사무소에서 일하다가
1981년 피터 킨, 톰 딕슨과 가구 쇼룸인 "One Off"를 설립합니다.
그 후 1985년, 콘크리트 소재의 하이파이 전축을 디자인하면서 이름을 널리 알렸습니다.
