팀 케르프는 1980년 Cologne(독일 노르트라인 베스트팔렌주에 있는 도시)에서 태어났습니다.
그래픽 디자이너로서 견습 기간을 마친후에 그는 아헨 공대에서 상품과 인테리어 디자인에 대해 공부하였습니다.
2009년부터 그는 고향에서 자신만의 스튜디오를 운영했습니다.
그래픽 디자이너로 일했을때의 경험은 현제의 그가 장인정신을 가지는데 일조를 하였습니다.
그의 작품은 미술관과 국제가구 전시회에서 볼 수 있으며 
the Ecosign(환경을 생각하는 디자인을 가르치는 사립학교)에서 마카 렌더링과 3D shaping을 가르치고 있습니다.
